So much so that it was remade as the "MS-20 Mini" a few years back now, and more recently, Korg have released a full size replica. This sale is for the full size, vintage, synthesiser. This classic monophonic beast is capable of some amazing sounds. Full, deep and round bass, percussive, noise and effects, bubbles and squelch plus some pretty amazing leads! This synth is also great for beginners with its real time editing, by using lots of knobs and the patch section you can improve your signal flow knowledge. The MS-20 has tons of notable users such as Aphex Twin, The Prodigy, Daft Punk, Jimmy Edgar, William Orbit, Jean-Michel Jarre, Gorilliaz, Shapeshifter, Portishead and many many more! Condition:• This MS-20 has been used.• This MS-20 is in good condition for its age. There are some signs of wear from use and age like some marks, nicks and scratches. There are small sections where letters or numbers have been rubbed off. There is a medium sized chip in the finish on the top and on the back of the unit. A couple of keys have chips in them, and one has a larger chip in the bottom. Someone seems to have painted and lacquered the keys in the past which has given them a bit of a weird look / finish. This wear does not affect the use or function of the keys at all. Overall it is still a nice synth! • This MS-20 has had a major service. We can confirm it is 100% functional and has no faults to note. The service included: Re-cap power supply and convert to 240V using factory OG transformer, a brand new power cable, all faults have been rectified, replaced many analogue IC'c with new ones. It has also had a full calibration to factory specifications• Please be aware this unit is 240V. This means it is ready to pug and play within Australia and New Zealand!
