It turns out this was due to some cold solder joint, which our tech reflowed. We also replaced the rubber feet with a new set. As usual with these, the potentiometer is no good and should be replaced. We normally work on high value items here and this isnt one of them. Even though this repair is easy, as a low value item, we cant justify paying for a new pot and paying our tech to install it, so we are selling this unit strictly as is and will let the buyer do this.
