The coronation never happened because Edward abdicated the throne in order to marry American divorcee Wallis Simpson. The bowl has a squared shape, measures 1.5 inches high by 3.25 in diameter and has a portrait of the king who was never crowned surrounded by color decorations, flags, the Tudor rose, thistles and shamrocks.
