Description: King & Country WW2 British Commando "D-Day" Attack Group DD053 NIB. The British Commandos formed during the early stages of WWll following an order from Winston Churchill. He wanted a "Force" that could carry out destructive raids against German occupied Europe. He stressed a "butcher and bolt" policy and the Commandos would serve in all theaters of the War. K&C has recreated an outstanding rendition of a British Commando Team spearheading the Allied "D-Day" Invasion in Europe. The set is brand new in the box and has never been displayed. The original display box is also excellent. The set is quite RARE and is long retired. Sadly....reducing my military collection.
