Description: ~ Vintage earthenware vase in the shape of a girl by Swedish studio potter Vera Haij ~ Early mid-century piece with original card with a handwritten message and signature in pen by Vera Haij. ~ Vase appears to be fired unglazed earthenware with a deeply incised pattern. ~ 10" tall, (25.4 cm) ~ Signed on the underside, "Haij Steneby" ~ Excellent condition with some light surface soiling to the arms where it's been held. Slight rubbing to the top rim. No chips, cracks or repairs. Original card was kept loosely rolled inside the vase so it's in a bit rough condition with some creases and chips to the top edge, but otherwise nice.
