The outside of the machine will be washed down and scuff marks are removed to the best of our ability. Although our vacuums are cleaned and deodorized very well, some odors could be present depending on the previous owner (smokers/pets) so please be aware this is possible with ANY used vacuum purchase. We believe our machines are cleaned very well, but they are sold as used and not refurbished because they may not be perfect.
