Her work shows individual creativity and flair in which she explores varying subject matters using mixed media. Her work is created by a composition of layers creating texture, colour and contrast.Her vivid imagination combined with an eye for detail and decorative tones is the basis of her contemporary imagery. Kelly enjoys creating unusual backgrounds to her still life compositions and allowing bursts of bright color to leap off her toned canvasses. Still life is definitely her specialty. Kelly's series of limited editions featuring the signs of the zodiac show her versatility as an artist. Watercolour applied onto heavy papers and complemented with hi-lights of gilding create this superb suite. Her floral still lives are highly decorative and are widely collected.
