No rips or tears, fully waterproof, and laces have been replaced with Paracord style since the Keen laces gave out (this is always a problem with Keen). These boots are WARM! I've had three pairs and loved them all. My shoe size changed this year, and I can no longer fit in many of my shoes from last winter. My loss. You can take advantage of it!
