K&B 3.5cc FF / CL Model Airplane Engine w/ Radial Backplate, Std. Mount, More!

Description: Note: I will supply the Allen head bolts for the backplate if you remove the radial mount and go with a conventional lug mount as well as the two shorter bolts for mounting the exhaust pipe adapter with deflector. This K&B 3.5cc Model Airplane Engine is setup for Free Flight or wide open high RPM control line use. I am only selling it as I have two others and just recently acquired a newer version rear intake ducted fan type I want to experiment with and see what's up. This engine is used but in excellent condition. Still has a lot of life left in it. Has a Supertigre type Needle valve/spray bar and Venturi setup. Big wide open breathability (see photo). It has a custom mini pipe that I have yet to test run with. It's aluminum tube that has been notched and bent then wrapped with conventional HVAC Foil tape over the seam and then lapped over and all around. This is to provide angled exhaust deflection away from you and flying surfaces. The radial mount backplate is also home made and handmade. Not best quality and would need trimmed across the top to be able to attach the exhaust deflector, or remove and use the standard Hayes long beam mount I added. I prefer to use the long beam mounts only because to get your CG it's better in my opinion to just have to add 1/10 of the weight to the tail than a ton of weight to the nose on your free flight gas job.
