KATE BUSH RUNNING UP THAT HILL PROMO '45 NEVER PLAYED PIC SLEEVE STRANGER THINGS

Description: This auction is for a KATE BUSH -- "RUNNING UP THAT HILL" PROMOTIONAL ONLY '45 VINYL RECORD. It was released in 1985 by EMI America Records, with the catalogue number B-8285 (see pic #5). I can't even believe that I still have this record, after almost 40 years. I was looking in the last box of '45s I own, looking for something else entirely, when this appeared before my eyes. I worked at a radio station for thirty years, beginning back in 1981. We still played music up until 1990, when the station became all talk. Any '45s that came in that we either had multiple copies or just didn't play at all, I took. This was one of them. I could not play-test this, as I do not currently own a turntable. I can tell you that I NEVER played any of my acquired promo '45s. They just went in to a box in the closet. I had 100s, but had to sell them off a few years ago...unfortunately. The condition of the picture sleeve is EXCELLENT. There are the very, VERY light beginnings of some ring wear on the front cover (photographs #2 - 3 - 4). Picture #6 shows a slight curl on the upper right corner. Photos #7 & #8 are of the back of the sleeve, and you can clearly see the copyright date. The remaining pics are of the vinyl '45, both label sides, and a closeup of the label details. You can see that the label plainly states that this is a "stereo promo", and in fact it even lists the intro time (:24 seconds) for the disc jockey to speak over the instrumental introduction. From what I understand, this song was used in the Netflix TV series "Stranger Things" a couple of years ago. This resurgence gained Kate Bush her first ton ten hit.
