Description: The AK Laucher, aka AK Lawnchair, was a pretty revolutionary ski in 99 - wide, traditional camber, one of the first "big" big mountain skis. These were my personal skis for a few years, they're in great shape. Full disclosure, I thought they sucked on groomers, but some people think they don't. (they do) They're awesome in anything soft and natural, though - it need not be DEEP, just soft enough to roll the ski "into" edge, vs "onto edge." I'm never going to use them again, I'm not going to hang them over a fireplace, they could make fun retro skis, good arms for an Adirondack chair, whatever you can come up with. Heck, I've seen tele bindings on these things. That seems like a TERRIBLE idea to me, but....eh? I can't bring myself to throw them out, but I can't envision myself using them again - maybe someone wants them?
