Description: I bought this at Crazy Eddies in 1979 with my graduation money! After my parents passed, we went back to clean out the house and “Look!…my old ghetto blaster!” It had been sitting in my room for 42yrs. Has some dents to the aluminum top plate and some cosmetic issues to the black but there are no dents to the speaker grills. Radio works great but there is some cracking when adjusting the volume. Simple rheostat issue. All of the tape deck buttons engage but for some reason tapes produce no sound even though the tape is turning. All of the red peak lights work and the dial light works. The Level/Tuning/Battery indicator works perfectly. All dials turn with no resistance. Handle is rock solid and the original antennae extends fully and has no bends. Original power cord, and no corrosion or ‘exploded battery’ damage to the battery compartment. If you have any questions or want other pictures, just please ask. If you’ve been around this hobby for a minute, you’ll understand why I am listing this “As Is” with no returns accepted. It’s simply too easy, and common to swap out parts and components. Check my feedbacks and seller rating, and you’ll see that I take eBay very seriously. It is too important to too many people to act like a knucklehead on here. Once again, this is listed as an “As Is” item with no returns, but you have my word that what I’ve written here is 100% true. Lastly, I apologize for the shipping cost but to properly pack this heavy item, to fully insure it for its value, and to add signature confirmation cost. Have a Blessed Day.
