For more than thirty years, she has documented and explored the Holocaust and its aftermath as an activist and artist. Her books include Upon Reflection: Photographs by Judy Ellis Glickman (2012), as well as a book on the work of her father, For the Love of It: The Photography of Irving Bennett Ellis (2008). Lauder is represented by the Howard Greenberg Gallery in New York City. Elie Wiesel was one of Americas most influential voices for remembering and understanding the Holocaust. He received the Congressional Gold Medal of Achievement in 1985 and the Nobel Peace Prize in 1986. He died in 2016, at the age of eighty-seven. Michael Berenbaum is the director of the Sigi Ziering Institute and a professor of Jewish studies at the American Jewish University. As project director, he oversaw the creation of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and he was the first director of its research institute. He later served as president and CEO of the Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation. Judith S. Goldstein is an author, historian, and human rights leader. In 1997, she founded international educational organization Humanity in Action.
