Josef Originals Little Internationals series Japan; geisha w/ parasol; ca 1960s

Description: This sweet geisha figurine is part of the LIttle Internationals series by Josef. According to my reference book, the original set included figures representing 18 countries, but more were added and some removed over the years. The glossy ones were made from 1960 to 1978. I believe the Japan figurine was one from the original 18, as shown in the book, but is much harder to find, so may have been one that was removed later. She has her original Japan label on the bottom (for made in Japan), and is incised with the Josef mark on the bottom as well.
