Need a needle valve for that Johnson SMALL CASE engine? Small cases are the 29, .32, .35 and Stunt engines. To help identify the case types, please look at the last two photos. The case the engine with the needle assembly installed is a small case; without a needle valve is a large case. The most noticeable difference is the motor mounts. The cases are for reference only and are not included with the needle valve. Note that the small case 4 bolt and early six bolt head versions had a pressed in spraybar and may need the case drilled to accept these spray bars. These quality made needle valves are made in Japan and replacement parts are available at “The Model Airplane Store”! The original Johnson needle valves are becoming scarce and were often inconsistent in quality and fussy to set. These are a direct fit 4 mm spraybar diameter assembly with a two fiber and a stainless steel washer to enhance tightening access and help seal the spray bar. Note that the photo of the needle valve installed in the case are for orifice centering positioning only. A better vertical position would be facing forward rotated 15 to 20 degrees from horizontal toward the crankshaft.
