Kennedy. The ashtray originates with a Kennedy insider who was aboard the Sequoia on May 29, 1963 for JFK's last-ever birthday party. As a witness to history, this extraordinary relic has been carefully preserved for nearly six decades. It comes from the estate of a senior Presidential aide who worked in the West Wing and was present aboard the yacht for Kennedy's birthday and on many other occasions. The exceedingly rare ashtray is white with a gold rim and features the Seal of the USS Sequoia in blue at its center. It is in virtually pristine condition, with no chips, cracks or blemishes of any kind. Identical ashtrays have sold for as much as $5,000 in rare instances where they have come to market.
