Joe Dunaway is known as the go-to guy for Predator repaints, he has a very unique style and is well known in the community for repainting Narin Predator kits. I offered to purchase his personal custom repaint of this Neca 1/4 Predator when he first posted it on his portfolio, and he's been in my collection ever since, displayed inside glass cabinet in a pet free/smoke free home. Maybe it's time to pass him to the next collector? This is truly a one of a kind item! The Neca Predator was sculpted by Tankman, he has studied the Predator form and facial features extensively to create one of the most accurate Predator sculpt when it was released. With a superstar paintjob from Joe Dunaway, this brings out the ultimate Predator figure in a large format. Joe has also completed the missing elements of the production figure by adding quills on his head, chest, back and shoulders. Thicker strings were replaced around the elbows and knees which also conveniently hides the only exposed joint of this figure. The end result is absolutely breathtaking, just look at the pictures! *update*Pictures #1 - #5 are from Joe's portfolio, Picture #6 - #12 are current photos that I took in hand so you know what it looks like. This was Joe's first repaint of this particular Predator figure which I purchased from him during his move to Los Angeles when he got hired as the creature prototype painter for Sideshow Collectibles.
