Description: Here is a rare & beautiful watch that was designed by "Art2Watch" in collaboration with the "Estate of Jean Cocteau" and made by watchmaker "Corum" . A limited number (2000 realized in silver) of these watches were made to be sold to raise funds to benefit the "Severin Wunderman / Jean Cocteau Museum" in Irvine , California . This watch has a grey dial with a Cocteau drawing of Orpheus and his lyre & his signature . The reverse is decorated with Cocteau's signature & his lifespan (1889-1963) and has (0296/2000) & sterling hallmarks . it has a Gucci 6 jewel quartz movement. .. it weighs 24.4 grams. the watch is 1 1/4" in diameter ... It is in never used condition , Retail price in 1987 was $500. What you see in the first photo , A (Sterling Silver Corum Cocteau Watch") is what is being sold here.
