Description: Japanese Hammer (Genno) curly koa handle. Hand made one of a kind item with a linseed oil finish. Koa grows only in the Hawaiin islands, mostly the big island. There are strict laws against harvesting with most lumber coming from storm damaged trees and reclaimed wood. Koa and especially curly koa is extremely rare and can cost as much as $300 per board foot! See photos for all measurements. Can easily be modified to fit most Japanese hammer heads.
