Description: 1962 typescript of Aristotle (An Introduction) Author: Klein, Jacob Title: 1962 typescript of Aristotle (An Introduction) Publication: (Annapolis): 1962 Description: 33 sheets in mimeograph on rectos only. Enlarged version of a formal lecture delivered April 20, 1962; this was included in "Ancients and Moderns" published by Basic Books in 1964, an anthology of works honoring Leo Strauss. With scattered pen and pencil marks and short notes, made by Edward Gelblum, who studied with Klein at St. John's and with Strauss at Chicago -- he later became a philosophy professor at Duquesne specializing in Husserl. We haven't compared this to the version in "Ancients and Moderns" and don't know if there are textual differences. Very good.
