Covers are somewhat worn at the corners and along the spine.Inside, the textblock remains sturdy, as if it hadn't been read for 100 years. Pages are nicely toned, with no age marks or foxing, no underlining or other signs of prior owners save a name and address on the front endpaper. Book was first published in March 1912 by Macmillan Company and this is the 4th impression or reprint from May 1914. It has 232 pages plus a list of London's other books at the end.
