Description: This is a rare November 22nd, 1934 broadside (single page playbill) from the three-night, out-of-town tryout of the GEORGE S. KAUFMAN and MORRIE RYSKIND comedy with music "BRING ON THE GIRLS" at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut. (The production premiered on October 23rd, 1934 at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C. and closed there the same night after determining that the third act needed to be totally rewritten. The revised play opened in New Haven on November 22nd, 1934 and after more rewrites the show moved on to Boston, Springfield, Massachusetts and Hartford, Connecticut, where the show closed for good on December 15th, 1934, failing to arrive in New York City.) .....
