Irritec Socket/Spigot x Perma-loc Tape Valve

Description: About Drip Depot Perma-Loc Drip Irrigation Fittings:Perma-Loc fittings and adapters are heavy duty reusable connectors for all your connection needs. They are very easy to use and require no special tools. Perma-Loc fittings are available for both Tubing and Tape. The tubing connectors can be used on blank tubing as well as drip line.To Use: Simply twist the locking collar back towards the center of the fitting exposing the barb. Then push tubing or tape over barbed end. Next, hand-tighten locking nut over tubing or tape for a permanent secure fit.To Remove: Just loosen locking nut, pull tube off and re-use as needed.Perma-Loc fittings look similar to traditional flange and locking nut plumbing connections; however, in most cases, they work differently. Unlike a typical locking nut which comes off the fitting and slides over the tubing, a Perma-Loc locking nut is not removed from the fitting. Directly connect drip tape to PVC pipe using this socket/spigot x perma-loc tape valve adapter. Provides simple on/off functionality with a quarter turn valve handle. The PVC socket (female) slips over the 1/2" PVC pipe or used as the spigot (male) it slips inside 3/4" PVC socket fitting. The PVC connection would require using appropriate primer/glue for leak proof seal. Perma-loc tape connection available for 5/8" or 7/8" drip tape. Valve is unidirectional so please note the directional flow arrow on the valve body. Perma-Loc tape fittings are compatible with: Chapin Tape, Irritec P1 Tape, John Deere T-Tape, and Toro Aqua-Traxx Tape
