We all would need to be willing to follow rules, regulations and laws in order to enjoy our life. We all need an environment that is free of violence and crime where all of us can really enjoy the earth with all it splendor. Author Biography Have we ever dreamed to be free from slavery? I fulfilled that dream. On the day that I made the decision to come into America, the Americans understood that I left for a reason, without asking me any questions about that to until present time. Today, I feel not only to tell the truth, but also to use the opportunity to thank them for all the help that I got from them. That day I came in America was July 1, 1982. That day was my first day that I was free from abuse, and it was also the first day of my freedom. In fact, I was born in Haiti, where I was in school and hard time with all the abuse from the professors and my classmates. I finally made it to the end, where I became a civil engineer and requested a visa at the American Embassy in which the consulate favored me. When I arrived in America, it was a totally a different history. It felt like there was a spray of love in the air that was touching my body. You could even smell that love and touch it because it was so strong. In fact, I am not only free from abuse, but also I have respect, peace, security, and all kinds of opportunities to become whatever I want. I live happily, and I am welcomed like others. I have never been mistreated by anyone, and I have never been discriminated against. The Americans are always trying their best to help me in everything that I want to do. By law, I had to have a high school diploma to register for college. I went through high school and went to college and got my degree. I am still going to university to get my PhD. The United States always has money ready for my schooling, so I can have many PhDs if I want. I have been a health care administrator for many years in the United States, and it is my favorite thing to do because Americans have trained me to love everyone. In conclusion, America is not only a land of opportunity, but also it is a land where love is shared with each other.
