Description: Bought a stash of new, display, demo and takeoff parts from a dealer and included was this OEM desert tan reduced reach heated solo seat with conchos and removeable fringe. From the Indian Accessory site: "This Genuine Leather Reduced Reach Heated Solo Seat positions a rider nearly 1 in. closer to the ground for enhanced control of the Indian Motorcycle®, and it includes adjustable heating so a rider can extend the riding season in comfort. Compared to the stock seating position, this seat positions a rider ¾ in. lower and about 1 in. forward and closer to the motorcycle’s controls. The seat also has an enhanced bucket shape that provides a rider with comfortable support. The seat has internal heating elements that provide a rider with enhanced comfort when the temperature drops. The heat is adjustable and easy to control with the left hand while seated on the Indian Motorcycle®. The available heat will let a rider extend the season and make riding more comfortable when it’s cool in the early morning and late at night." Seat appears to be new display model. Heaters and switches have tested good. I see no damage, no wear, no marks. This is the early desert tan which has really cool leather grain, the newer desert tan seats are mostly plain leather appearance. Has connector and switch to allow use of heated passenger seat which I don't have at this time. I believe this won't work on 2014 models unless the VCM has been reflashed. Otherwise will fit all 2014 and up 111, 116 models including Chief, Classic, Vintage, Dark Horse, Chieftain, Springfield and Roadmaster. Will NOT fit the 2022 up new style Chief models. These reduced reach seats are no longer available in desert tan. Indian part number 2879578-06 retailed for I believe over $700 when they were available. Black ones currently sell for $679.99.
