Die Clash (Ghost error) occurs when the upper Die moves downwards to strike a coin while no coin blank is there in between, both the Dies strike each other. At this high pressure of the strike, some design of the Obverse Die is left on the Reverse & some designs of the Reverse Die is left on the Obverse Die in relief. When any fresh blank is minted by those Dies, an incused image of some text or design of the Obverse Die is found on the reverse side of the coin & vice versa also occurs. This is how a 'Die Clash' or 'Ghost' Error is produced (Shown in Red). Double Strike Appears to have taken place while the minted coin was in the process of getting ejected out (Shown in Green).
