Description: Impressive standing vanity mirror with an ornate sterling silver pierced frame containing masks, birds, flowers and leaves, grape clusters, and hand engraved in script "VW" in the reserve at the top of the frame. The piece measures 14 inches high and 11 1/4 inches across, marked on the lower left swag of the large mask "Sterling" followed by the trademark of Dominick & Haff and "260". The sterling frame is in good antique condition, the flat glass mirror has spots and mild discoloration and shadows including one 1" square bright patch but still gives a good reflection, and the velvet backing is somewhat worn (see photo), otherwise in good antique condition.
