Here we have a Dome Light Door Switch Seal which goes in the door jam and covers the switch that turns the dome light on when you open the door. It is a Genuine GM Part that should be replaced whenever you see them torn or missing to prevent water from getting into the switch and causing possible failure. It may be time to replace your missing or damaged one while it is still available from GM. It is only a matter of time before this part becomes Obsolete like so many other Caprice and Impala SS parts already have.
