Condition: This IFM SM6004 Magnetic-Inductive Flow Meter is in excellent working order. Testing performed: The purpose and functionality of this IFM Efector SM6004 has been determined to be in excellent working order based on the following testing:Tested sensor with power on. Tested button response. Tested sensor attached to circulating water system. Tested flow using water. Verified flow readings against certified flow meter results. Verified outputs with a multi-meter. The IFM EfectorSM6004 is functional and will perform as originally intended based on the evidence obtained during these tests. With a known source of flow verified with a certified flow meter this flow meter was connected to the pipeline. Once connected, the flow was set to different values throughout the range and the results have been recorded in the graph pictured. The output of temperature and flow was also checked with a multimeter. After converting the 4-20mA signal to their corresponding units the outputs were found to be passing. SM6004 should be installed in front of or in a rising pipe and should not be installed in a falling pipe. The Flow Meter is capable of measuring volumetric flow up to 25 l/min, as well as, medium temperature. In addition to the digital display there are two analogue signal OUT wires.
