Description: Absolutely adorable....Here she is, comic strip characters, Dick Tracy and Tess Trueheart's newborn baby daughter, "BONNY BRAIDS", circa 1951*. Measuring 13 1/2" long, with Vinylite brand vinyl head, stuffed Magic skin latex rubber body, jointed arms with individual fingers, big blue painted eyes, ear openings and an open/closed mouth with one lower tooth and tongue. She has molded and painted blond hair with two saran pigtails of hair and wears all her original clothing: long pale pink, organdy gown, matching long slip, diaper and pink bed jacket with pink satin ribbon tie. Her head is marked: Copyright 1951/Chicago Tribune/IDEAL DOLL/U.S.A. Included is an original, Sunday News, Dick Tracy, newspaper comic page and a copy of her original, "Dear Mother", Chicago Tribune message. (*Born on May 21, 1951 in a squad car.) She is in generally very good condition as shown, no missing fingers, no stains and no fading and no odors as she is from a smoke free home.
