Ibanez 540S LTD Custom Made 1992 Very rare! VERY Cool!!! Truly unique!

Description: Hi, Thanks for looking at my listing.This is a little gem from my collection, I hate to let it go but I'm nearly 70, haven't gigged in years and having to downsize. Watch for more great guitars coming soon. This one is very interesting, I have done some research and to be totally honest this is the best information I can give you. This is not a run of the mill production model, I am basing the model and year on the best info I can fine. If you are an Ibanez guru and have more detail I can put in this listing please send it along. I got corrected information on this guitar and this listing is updated to show it. I thought this was an FGM100 based on info I could fine but a great E-Bayer sent me some info that correctes my findings so I have revised this listing and adjusted the price. I still see the correct model on Reverb for around 5K but see others for less, all my details on condition ETC are st the same. I bought this from a friend worked with in about 2005. Now here is a question I can't answer,the serial number when looked up says this was made in 2021, that is impossible since I got about 2005 and know the previous owner had if for some time before me. Don't know what else to tell you, can only be honest with what I know. Now the Guitar... WOW, Killer bad ass axe my friends! Please examine the pictures, enlarge them study them.If you buy this and come back at me with,,,,hey I didn't know this or that I'm just gonna tell you that you should have paid attention. To the best of my knowledge this is mostly stock and original, here is are some facts to consider.PICK UPS.... Before I got this someone had removed the neck pickup and stuffed a single coil in there with a bunch of foam...did a crappy job as well, foam puffing out all over. I replaced it with a FLEOR humbucker from Amazon I had in my parts bin. Granted it's a cheap pickup but I was amazed how good it sounds, really nice!!! I think the middle single coil is original and the bridge is a Seymour-Duncan, don't know the model and don't think it's original either but absolutely killer...KILLER!!! The bridge is real Floyd Rose, 3springs, setup stiff. There you have it, let me say again, I have been playing, buying trading selling guitars for 50 years or so.I do my own work on them and I'm very picky. Any guitar you get from me will have new strings, checked for proper playing and all working parts. I set them up to my liking so no doubt you will have to dial them in to your taste. DO YOUR HOMEWORK, ask questions. Once you bought it, IT IS YOURS.
