Description: That's a legendary watch, one of the icons from Zenith! It's the Zenith De Luca Mark I in black, the most sought after by collectors from all De Luca versions! This one for sale is in NEAR NOS condition, it could be the last one like that! Zenith manufactured this reference in 1988 and 1989 in 1025 units, only. The specific reference is 01.0042.400, you can see the last picture with the data from Manfred Rossler book. The probability that another one survived in this condition to this day is very very low. There are some tiny hairlines most likely from storage. There are lots of reviews online where you can read about this legendary watch. This one is all correct, it checks all the boxes: the unmarked original crown, the dial without the 'El Primero' writing, the small logo on the caseback and the legendary A277 hands. The original bracelet is full size, it fits a 21cm wrist. It comes almost full set, it misses only the original warranty, but it has a card from an Italian boutique. It has both boxes, the instructions manual, the warranty booklet and the tag. All original and in very good condition. I bought it NOS, serviced it in 02.2024 and worn it 4 times. The movement is perfect, you can see the performance on the timegrapher, it's outstanding! The original tritium on the hands, dial and bezel insert is still active, even and strong! It's a very beautiful watch, the subdials and numbers on the bezel insert are silver, not white, but it's hard to get a good picture. That's a really unique piece and a must have for any collector!
