This is a solid sturdy handsome/pretty mug or stein. It's a clear glass encased with amethyst purple glass that the cameos/designs are cut through. The hand painting on the flowers, leaves, and motifs is not at all flat - they were done by someone who excelled in giving each brush stroke depth and personality. The stein stands about 6" tall. It weighs in at about 1 lb,14 oz. I usually ship wiithin one day of receiving payment.
