Description: For sale here is an incredible one of a kind, hand made taxidermy mirror. There is no other like it as far as I know: The frame is all cladded around with what appears to be copper sheets that were hammered and painted to resemble an alligator skin. Decorated with various animal horns which creates a coherent, beautiful silhouette. Salvaged French ormolu scrolls add a sense of eternal elegance (some combined with what might be Bakelite spheres), and an ormolu shell adorns the center top. As if this isn't enough, 2 round half sphere shapes on both sides, covered in bone, brighten it all up. In addition, the horns and other elements were also made to look distressed by adding a corrosive green color. I cannot possibly ship it. Pick up by you or your designated shipper only.
