Description: Presented today is this small Hopi Kachina doll, depicting the Koshare' Clown. He is also known as the Tewa Clown, and was brought by the Tewa People when they immigrated to the Hopi Mesas from the Rio Grande. Standing 3 and a half inches tall, he was carved by Anthony David, of Polacca, around 2000. Anthony was taught the art of carving by his good friend Richard Gorman. If miniature Kachinas appeal to you, then this is certainly for you.
