Description: MY HOLIDAY GIFT TO YOU: EBAY'S SPECIAL POSTAGE RATE, NOT RETAIL CARRIER RATES: SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING COMBINED SHIPPING!!! ”Lola” is one of 4 dolls designed by Marie Ancelin for the Corolle Refarbet collection ”Les petites filles de Malou A” and featured in the 1988 catalog. She is 22” tall with a cloth body and vinyl head and limbs. Her face has the delicate look of porcelain, and she has freckles; her blue eyes are fixed (do not open and close), and she has long light-red wavy hair, which is in excellent condition. The doll and clothes look new, but there is no original carton, so she may have been displayed by a previous owner. She is dressed in her original calf-length pants made of blue fabric decorated with cherries and cherry blossoms, and a plaid cotton skirt. Over that is a blue long-sleeved tunic dress with a white eyelet trimmed peplum, cuffs and a pocket made of fabric matching the pants. She has a white hair ribbon with red polka dots, white socks, and white shoes with snap closures. Please note: the only fault is in the socks which have some tiny pin-point holes. Lola comes with a tag for directions to wash her hair. Labels on her body are intact. Online in France I discovered that she would have come with a certificate if she were in the original box. Doll is dressed in a cotton dress with puffed sleeves, peter-pan collar, and sewn-on vest with embroidered ”buttons” and a Corolle label—vest ties in back. In addition she has a matching brimmed hat decorated with a color-coordinating bow and original black shoes. She is missing socks, but her missing underpants have been replaced with new ones. Doll and outfit are in EXCELLENT used condition, except for 2 tiny black marks on the brim of her hat——I have tried to remove the marks, to no avail, and the hat has been washed and ironed.
