These aircraft were offered for sale to other countries but there wasn't interest shown so they USN and USAF put them to work as aggressors. Pakistan wanted the aircraft or their money back. With Pakistan assisting in the war on terror Pakistan was able to get 18 aircraft. F-16A 84705 was assigned to 11 Squadron "Arrows". Lockheed F-16AM Fighting Falcon Designed by General Dynamics as a lightweight, daytime USAF air-combat fighter, the F-16 was first flown on January 20th, 1974. This single-engine, supersonic aircraft has, over the years, evolved into a multirole aircraft.
