Description: Up for sale is a used Hitachi C10FS, 115 V 10 amp dual sliding miter saw made in Japan. The generation one C10FS is widely considered as one of the best miter saws ever made. The bed is solid aluminum and the miter angle degree marks are machined instead of a sticker. The saw motor runs great and the slide, bevel and miter angle adjustments work as they should. This beast can crosscut a board up to 12" wide. The green plastic housing is scuffed up in some parts but is structurally sound, the handle has no significant cracks. I personally disassembled this saw and blew out all sawdust that accumulated inside the machine and lubricated the springs and the blade guard restoring it's proper function. See the video for the tool in action. Note that at the end of the video I am commenting on the blade, which you can easily change. The saw comes with a used Dewalt 10" blade with 32 teeth.
