Description: Vintage 1990's Hill tribe earrings. These were mostly made by various Hilltribes in and around Thailand (Hmong, Karen, Lahu, Lisu). Long ago I had some Karen friends that made earrings like this. They are hammered in tin with simple metal tools (straight lines, crescents etc...) to make the designs and then silver plated.
