Description: LP Hi-Fi Organ and Chimes at Christmastime Norman Roye Design Records DLPX-3 1962? Discogs says "Unknown". Album itself was clearly played and enjoyed. A tiny bit of spindle wear on Side A of label. Visible scuffs and marks. They do not appear to be critical. Would benefit from a thorough cleaning, by method of your choice. Cover is sturdy and in remarkably great shape for its age. Some ring wear. Inner sleeve is not present. Norman says, "Anyone with that many sevens in their birthdate would be a fool notto believe in numerology." He first came to New York as accompanist for one of Canadas finest young musical comedy artists, Wendy Martin. Wendy was giving thought to entering the night club field. Norman felt that she had an excellent chance of becoming one of the brighter lights in the nightclub field, so much so that he left his job at the fashionable "Gaiete" where he not only played piano and conducted, but staged the rather extensive stage presentations. He then followed Miss Martin into the States. This album shows Mr. Roye's versatility, with heartwarming Christmas music coaxed from the electronic Wurlitzer by this magician of the organ keyboard.". Roye recorded such albums as Wurlitzer Midnight Moods in 1958, and A Tribute to Ken Griffin Music for Dancing and Skating in the 1960s, as well as a couple of Christmas Albums.
