Herpa 550840 Air New Zealand Boeing 747-400 LOTR Frodo NK-NBV 1/200 Jet Model Herpa 550840 Air New Zealand Boeing 747-400 LOTR Frodo NK-NBV 1/200 Jet Model Item For sale: As pictured above, this eBay Offering is for a previously owned/used 2004, Herpa brand, model #550840 "1/200 Scale Air New Zealand Boeing 747-400 airplane model" which is decorated in "Lord of The Rings, The Two Towers" motif. Also included in this offering is the original box for the model plane. The backside of the box has text printed on it that seems to indicate that the plane came with some sort of "Registration." If there was any type of registration document that originally came with the plane it is currently missing and it is not part of this eBay offering. The plane measures approximately 13 7/8" long, the wingspan is approximately 12 3/4" wide. This item originates from a delinquent storage locker auction/sale, we are not the original owners and will be unable to provide further details as to its history. Item(s) Condition: The box for the plane has some signs of use including scuffing, scratches and color loss. On one of the box's flaps, there are two square cutouts, I imagine they might have been used in conjunction with some sort plastic carrying strap/handle for the box which is no longer present. The model plane itself appears to be in nice condition to us. There is a round blemish on the right wing (looking towards the front of plane while standing behind the tail end) above the jet engine closest to the outer tip of the wing which we have tried to highlight in a couple of our posted photos. Please view the large and high-resolution photos we have posted above and below, doing so will help you determine for yourself the condition of the items. We highly recommend that you view the photos we posted on the largest screen you have available to you, the photos are quite big and detailed if expanded to their full size.
