Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE HERMLE 1051 TRIPLE CHIME MOVEMENT WITH CHIME BAR AND KEY APPEARS TO BE NEW Offered for sale is Hermle 1051-020 triple chime clock movement. The movement has a 31 cm pendulum drop and the full tooth escape wheel, not the auto beat. The movement appears to have never been installed, it was in a boxed separately and the box contained the movement, the chime bar and the key. More and more repair shops are simply swapping out movements to save time, my assumption is that this movement was bought for this purpose. It has a date code D stamped on it; this indicates a 1991 date of manufacture. I wound the movement and it functioned as it should but it should be oiled prior to installation. ClockWorks sells these movements for $450 for just the movement so there is substantial savings to be had here. I bought out the inventory of a clock shop that had closed when the owner passed away. I brought home a truckload of material that includes tools and complete American and European movements. All of the parts will be put up for sale as time permits.
