These beautiful Herkmier diamonds are featured inside matrix pieces formed 300-500 million years ago, located at Herkimer diamonds mines in New York, USA. These miniature "pockets" sometimes contain Herkimer diamonds that are attached to the host rock or even loose. These are truly 100% real and heavy and solid.... Do not place on a glass/marble table -it'll scratch it deeply and a lot. This is hand mined quartz diamond bearing rock from Herkimer NY. This Matrix specimen itself was found inside a rockshelf, these rocks can weigh as much as 500lbs to move, lucky for you made it a bit smaller for shipping purposes. :). Dolomite is one of the hardest rocks to try and break.......
