Description: This is a very old copy of Helen's Babies by John Habberton. It's hardcover by M. A. Donohue & Company Chicago. From what I can tell from trying to research this book, this one is a first printing and first edition, from the early 1900's. This book has clearly been well loved. Inside the front cover is written "To Peta From your dear Gdma" The front cover is detached from the binding from the top to about halfway down. There is a piece of tape on the first page and writing "L694/25" Several pages have various stains and marks. One page 39/40 has damage to the bottom of the page, and one page 41/42 has a fold and tear in two places. Both are included in the photographs. The pages are yellowed with age, and the cover shows considerable wear on all edges and corners. The color is rubbed off from both the front cover and binding, making it harder to read. Please take a close look at the photos provided. Still very much a readable book, it just looks a little shabby, which is understandable given its age (over 100 years?).
