Description: Up for sale is a Vintage Floral Hand Painted Porcelain Luncheon Plate made in Limoges, France by Haviland. Circa 1950s. The plate features a gorgeous floral hand painted pattern known as the "Levigne" pattern. It has a nice blue ornate filigree pattern around the rim with hand painted red, purple, pink, blue, and yellow flowers with green leaves. The base has a red printed mark that reads "HAVILAND / LIMOGES / FRANCE / Levigne" though the mark has a cross etched through it as seen in the photos. This mark was used in the late 1950s. There is a short hairline crack on the rim and very minor wear to the decoration and light surface scratches throughout the plate as seen in the photos. Otherwise the plate is in great condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing. Overall the plate still displays beautifully. Measurements are approximately:3/4" Tall to Rim.8 5/8" Rim Diameter.5" Base Diameter.
