Rare In Color DESCRIPTION This etching was taken out of a Harper's Weekly edition and hand colored. The title of this engraving is "Bombardment of Fort Sumter by the batteries of the Confederate states, April 13, 1861." This piece of art is affixed to foam core board using scotch tape and has a white and gold matte. The etching itself has a few damaged spots. There are three small tears in the upper right hand corner and small tears around the outside under the matte (please see photos). Also three of the mattes corners are dog-eared. The artwork is 21 1/2'' x 15 3/4'' The matte and foam core board is 20 1/2'' x 26 1/4'' See photos and the Item Description above.
