Glossy marbled end sheets and paste downs clean and bright. Pages are toned with a handful of pages with a short tear in the margin but clean and very good. The quarter-fold color map in volume 1 has several short tears in the margins and at the center fold a larger tear. These tears could be neatly repaired on the back side to preserve or if planning to frame. The title page in volume 2 has several small soil spots and is partially detached.
