Description: This is an incredibly rare item! A museum quality 1956 Harley-Davidson Genuine Front Quarter Horse Hide D Pocket Cycle Champ leather jacket from 1956. It is an amazing find on its own but it also had the original owner's Ohio Motorcycle Registration Card, dated 1958 for a 1956 Harley. I suspect that this was the last time he had the bike registered and the last time the jacket was worn. It is in almost perfect condition with no scratches or wear, all the zippers and pulls are intact and work perfectly. The leather is supple and pliable with no cracking or stiffness. The tag says size 40 but it feels more like a 38 and is definitely not for a large person. It measures 19 inches from armpit to armpit. This is the exact same personal jacket that Elvis Presley wore in the mid 1950's. I found some old photos on the internet and you can do your own search to confirm.
