Description: Nice vintage first edition, second printing 1973 hardcover in very nice shape. This is an ex-library copy. Pages are clean, binding tight. Full cloth cover is clean and sharp with two corner bumps. Also four spots of petrified tape adhesive where mylar jacket wrapper was taped down on cloth and inside on paste-downs and flyleaves. Because it was wrapped in mylar for its life, dust jacket is impressive in near perfect shape, with its full original factory lustre. No chipping, no rips, not even edge wear. Does retain the usual library remnants - card slot, stamps, stickers etc. Overall a nice, well-preserved veteran hardcover that has aged mildly and evenly. I've wrapped the jacket with new archival mylar to protect it another 50 years. Ships with USPS Media Mail in protective packaging.
