Description: Hanwei - Cawood Sword Hanwei - Cawood Sword Named for its discovery location near Cawood Castle in England, the famous Cawood Sword is considered one of the best and best-preserved examples of an 11th-century Viking sword that exists. Preserved in the mud of the river Ouse bed for nearly a millennium, the sword has now found a permanent home at the Yorkshire Museum, where it is one of the main attractions. Which is almost certainly that a «sister» sword was unearthed in Norway in 1888, giving a valuable clue as to the origin of the Cawood sword. Manufactured by Cas Hanwei.
